Do you live and breathe UI and visual design? Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Visual Designer to join the inclusive team of our multinational tech client.
This is a 12-month contract that will require onsite working 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in our client's Kings Cross office. Mondays and Fridays can be worked remotely from home. The role comes with an attractive PAYE rate of £90,001 per annum, pro-rata, plus perks, equivalent to £43.27 per hour. Perks include holiday entitlement of 33 days per annum, pro-rata, inclusive of Bank Holidays, an onsite gym, and free dining including breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks. You could also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
In this Visual Designer role, you will focus on creating beautiful, thoughtful, and creative visuals and assets including imagery, assets, UI, and specs.
To give you an idea of how this role would feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Develop visual UI concepts and designs
- Produce imagery and motion assets
- Develop reusable design templates
- Work within the brand language of each initiative
- Ensure that project files are correctly labelled
To succeed, you should have gained a BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, or a related field and have relevant work experience together with experience in UI systems, redline specifications, and style guides. You will also need the following:
- A portfolio demonstrating core design skills
- The ability to keep materials on-brand
- Good command of website design and email communications
- Experience in Figma and expertise in specialist tools
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities to deadlines
