We are recruiting for a Junior Digital Project Manager to join our expanding team of specialists across strategy and planning, project management, design and UX, development, QA and testing.

Based in our Manchester office, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a number of ambitious clients across diverse sectors, including some well known brands; WaterAid, BAFTA, National Grid, National Youth Theatre, University of Central Lancashire, Stagecoach Bus and Wave Utilities – as well as numerous smaller local businesses, charities and our own internal projects.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
As a Junior Digital Project Manager you’ll be expected to support senior project managers on the delivery of large projects as well as take responsibility for managing some small projects and overseeing and coordinating ongoing maintenance and support activity across clients.
- Manage the Maintenance & Support schedule, priorities and scheduling
- Run monthly reports for client spend and support retainer usage
- Support senior Project Managers in the delivery of larger projects, participating in team and client planning and review meetings
- Participating in the creation of documentation; timing plans, specifications and cost proposals
- Support strategic and technical planning by providing analytics and digital marketing support
- Forecast workloads to identify under or over capacity periods
- Work closely with project teams to support their day to day operations – helping to resolve issues to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
- Communicate project updates to clients regarding budgets, risks and timescales
- Forecast workloads and raise opportunity to take on new work.
About you – what we are looking for.
Ideally, you'll already have some experience in managing website or app projects, gained through a placement year, work experience or employment.
You’ll need to be organised, methodical, collaborative and passionate about delivering great work for our clients and their customers. You’ll be keen to learn and want the opportunity to develop your personal and technical skills on the job.
Skills and experience
- A basic working understanding of project management methodologies, Agile and Waterfall.
- Confident in communicating with team and clients, verbal and written
- Some experience or web content management systems is desirable
- Some experience of project management software – Jira, Trello, Basecamp – is desirable
