Title: Junior Digital Marketing & Creative Executive

Reports to: Director

Based at: Huncote Road, Stoney Stanton, Leicester

Date closes: 28th April 2023

Full time position: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Introduction:

Fusion Living is a UK e-commerce furniture retailer and we are looking to bring on board a Junior Digital Marketing & Creative Executive to help grow our brand and customer sales. This role would suit any creative individual with a passion for Digital Design and Online Marketing. This may be your first role in this field or early stage in your career.

Job purpose:

To design and develop on-brand creative assets for all digital channels including onsite promotions, email campaigns, social marketing and onsite product development and merchandising.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

With full support, you will report to the Director to carry out the following tasks:

1. Design promotional banners for our responsive website

2. Create/design and write regular posts for our social channels

3. Design promotional emails to send to our subscribers

4. Run and maintain our social media accounts – Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest

5. Work together with our e-commerce partner on various digital campaigns / sale plans

6. Develop and edit product lifestyle imagery

7. Multi-channel development on eBay, Amazon and other marketplaces

8. List new products on the website, merchandise categories and general website housekeeping

9. Respond to customer enquiries via our online chat facility and other social media messaging facilities

10. Write content for our website to improve search rankings

Other:

As part of the above, your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:

1. Checking the performance of social activity

2. Understanding social performance and insights

3. Designing new social posts and writing content/captions

4. Designing new website banners

5. Developing and forward planning a range of email campaigns to different subscriber groups

6. Designing CMS and landing pages

7. Photographing and editing products

8. Writing keyword rich descriptions for product categories and improving imagery

9. Designing promotional material for special holidays (Easter, Christmas etc).

10. Developing social media relationships (Collaborations/Giveaways).

11. Listing new products on the website and marketplaces

Person-profile:

Personality: An enthusiastic, committed and reliable individual who has a natural creative flair and a passion for online retail. You must be a self-motivated and have the ability to create new ideas. Must be able to get on with others and be a team player. Meeting deadlines and planning ahead is also a key part of the role to ensure all tasks are completed in a proactive timely manner and to a high standard.

Specific Job Skills: Able to communicate well via written media particularly in relation to product listing details, email and social posts. Appreciates the need for brand consistency and has excellent attention to detail. It is essential that you have skills to seamlessly retouch and edit product photography.

Literacy and Numeracy: Must have excellent English and grammar

Computer skills:

To apply for this role, you must be IT proficient.

· Experience in Photoshop (Critical)

· Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (Essential)

· Experience with Instagram/Twitter/Facebook/Pinterest (Essential)

· Knowledge of Email Design (Essential)

· Knowledge of other design tools such as Canva (Desireable)

Other related skills:

· Experience in a Graphic Design/Media related field.

· Photography Experience (Desired).

· Own Photography Camera (Not Essential).

Education:

· An A Level (or equivalent) in Media, Graphic Design or Digital Marketing

· Valid Driver’s License (for onsite photoshoots, desired but not essential).
