Junior Digital Marketing Assistant

This is a junior role within our small marketing team. Our activities have a main focus on content marketing. We create engaging content to inspire our customers, connect them further with our brand and enhance their Rafi’s Spicebox experience.
Whether you are working on the production floor, making Curry Packs, fulfilling customer orders or performing office work, the purpose of your job remains the same. Always display your enthusiasm and passion for our vision. You will be able to do this by maintaining high quality and standards throughout your work.
Main Duties:
All activities will be in line with the campaigns and strategies set out by the Rafi’s Spicebox Marketing team. Under the direction of the Marketing Manager you will:-
- Coordinate and create copy, and deliver content for our social media channels, including Facebook Advertising.
- Create copy and upload content to the Rafi’s Spicebox website - including (but not limited to) blogs, products and key promotional sections.
- Create copy, building and delivering email marketing campaigns.
- General admin support and ad hoc projects as required.
Other
- Stay up to date with relevant marketing strategies and present any ideas to your line manager.
- Maintain excellent communication skills and liaise with the team and customers effectively.
- Work well collaboratively and creatively within the team and also take the initiative in being self-motivated to work independently.
- Actively challenge yourself in working within an interesting, independent company contributing to its growth and development.
Working Hours
3 days per week or equivalent hours across 4 or 5 days. If you are already employed with Rafi’s Spicebox this can form part of your full-time role. You will be expected to work on-site from our Head Office in York. This is not a work from home position. You will be required to provide support for sites on some weekends when necessary. You must make yourself available for all meetings and training you are invited to.
Pay
Approx £11 per hour and subject to a performance review after 6 months in the role.
