Operations Manager
The Opportunity
As a result of new mobilisations and continued growth we are looking to strengthen our management teams and are looking for new Operations Managers in London and the South East area. We manage and support both end user clients and managing agents with several Iconic buildings and developments you will recognise.
The Package
· £50k - £60k basic
· Bonus

The Role
- All staff under your supervision achieve personal targets and development plans.
- Staff churn rate of less than 10%.
- All sites achieve a minimum of 90% scores in monthly KPI meetings
- All contracts meet legislative requirements for Health and Safety
- Business achieves the budgeted Net Operating Profit for the period and the year.
- Delivery of all added value and innovation commitment across portfolio.
- Developing client relationships on each individual contract.
- Aged Debt is kept to a minimum at all times.
- Contracts remain on budget and achieve set projection.
- Annual portfolio growth.
- Delivery of Roadmap cost savings.
The Person
Staff Development
· All contract managers/team members are developed in order to achieve their own competencies and expected performance standards.
· Staff are always recruited to the correct profile.
· Annual performance reviews are completed on schedule, identifying training needs against the required job competencies, supported by formally documented action / training / development plans, with a timed
· outcome.
· Informal and on the job training is given to ensure basic job standards are met.
Leadership
· Weekly meetings with the contract manager are focused, interactive and serve to motivate and give direction.
· Generates a ‘Team’ environment, where staff help each other and recognise that they individually have a responsibility to the whole and the Manager’s role is fully understood.
· Problems are identified, a decision and solution is implemented quickly, based on analysis of the facts, judgement and these are then monitored.
· Staff are given constructive feedback when issues occur, such that inappropriate practice is understood and action to change is agreed.
· Accountability for individual targets, plans, projects is delegated to the contract manager, such that everyone understands and support is always given.
Business Development
· Is seen to identify and explore new business opportunities increasing business turnover.
· Has the capacity to identify strategies, considering not only a range of conventionally used solutions, but thinking creatively to consider less immediately obvious options.
Organisational Development
· To communicate the vision and goals to all members of staff, public and clients, such that everyone is clear on what the company are aiming for.
· To contribute to and implement the preferred culture and values of the organisation, ensuring that staff embrace the appropriate style.
General Management.
· Controls, optimises and monitors the investment in all resources, constantly assessing the effect, efficiency and value. Make changes, which reflect a policy of continuous improvement.
