About the role:
Our software department is looking for a passionate software engineer to join our existing team. The team currently develops and maintains the software tooling that supports the business in a multitude of ways as well public facing applications to provide a self serve services. We use a wide range of technologies to achieve our goals such as Vue.JS, AdonisJS, PostgreSQL, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes. In this role you will:
- Collaborate with the team and other departments to deliver high quality solutions
- Implement new features to existing projects
- Work on internal and customer facing applications
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of programming fundamentals and a strong desire to learn. They also should have:
- Experience using CSS component libraries (Tailwind, Bootstrap etc)
- Experience using a Framework/Library such as Vue, React, Svelte, etc
- Some experience of Typescript
- Ability to follow design specifications
- Ability to manage their own project workload
- The desire to learn
Desirable:
- Knowledge of SEO
- Knowledge of web vitals
- Knowledge of design tools such as Figma
- Knowledge of any testing suite
- Local to the North East for hybrid working
