Aqua Restaurant Group launched Hutong in 2013 to critical acclaim. The authentic menus are based on the Lu School cuisine of China’s Shandong Province, renowned for its seafood, and with influences from Sichuan Province, famed for its fiery spices and peppers. Experience dramatic dishes including Red Lantern crispy soft-shell crab with Sichuan dried chilli and Hutong’s signature Roasted Peking duck. Founder David Yeo carefully designed the sumptuous interior with traditional Chinese red lanterns, hand-carved wooden ‘moon gates ‘and a wall of tea-bricks, set against the breath-taking views of the Capital’s skyline. Alongside the restaurant, the atmospheric Shanghai Bar serves traditional Chinese medicinal cocktails and Chinese wines and beers, making Hutong the perfect destination for all occasions.
We are looking for a creative and friendly Junior Chef!
As a Junior Chef at Hutong, you will contribute to the production of the highest possible food quality in the delegated section at all times. All production is carried out in line with appropriate food portion control, the departmental business plan, and aqua London guidelines, and service concepts.
You have experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen and thrives in delivering the best culinary experience to our guests.
