Young & Norgate is an award winning furniture and joinery company with a passion for creating beautiful objects. Bringing ideas to life is at the core of our business. Together we are a highly skilled team of designers and makers with experience in fitting out high end residential properties. Based in Montpelier, Bristol we have recently refitted the workshop/studio creating a dedicated space in the heart of the city.
Roles and responsibilities:
- 3D modelling of fitted furniture
- Producing client sign off drawings and visuals
- Producing workshop drawings
- Interpreting site survey dimensions
- Checking suitability of and specifying fittings and hardware
Our ideal candidate would be competent in Solidworks and AutoCAD. A basic understanding of constructional methods and materials used to construct furniture and joinery would be beneficial. Comfortable reading and producing technical workshop drawings and visuals. Good eye for detail with a keenness for quality and providing good service.
Any CNC programming/running knowledge would be beneficial as this is becoming more integral to the production processing of many of our projects.
