Role Purpose
To analyse, understand, improve and innovate business processes and Management Information (MI).
Roles & Responsibilities
Analysis & Documentation
  • Document current business processes (AS IS) by producing process maps and descriptions.
  • Perform the analysis of the current processes and MI needs.
  • Document future business processes (TO BE) by producing process maps and descriptions.
  • Communicate the analysis results and proposed changes to the Stakeholders.
  • Analyse and document detailed business and system solution requirements.
  • Provide assistance in tasks required to ensure relationship between scope (such as the detailed requirements) and testing through to implementation.
Testing & Results Delivery
  • Validate requirements with different stakeholders and seek optimal solutions.
  • Actively participate in a full development/project implementation cycle.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback.
  • Assist users with adopting new systems and answering any queries.
Project Work
To participate in all stages of project implementation:
  • To perform analysis tasks
  • To elicit requirements from the project’s stakeholders
  • To assist with any queries regarding implementation
  • To participate in system testing, if applicable
  • To prepare and participate in user training
  • To provide daily support for the users
Person Specification
  • We are looking for someone who is either a recent Mathematics, Economics, Accounting or Business Graduate or someone who has 1-2 years experience in a similar role (please note, work experience is not essential);
  • Analysis and documentation: experience in scoping business processes, working on cases and scenarios.
  • Awareness and understanding of data requirements, business rules, user interfaces, non-functional requirements, and user stories, etc.
  • Elicitation techniques: experience in conducting workshops with stakeholders, being able to observe behaviours in cases and scenarios, analyse and produce project scope documentation, demonstrate confidence to interview relevant stakeholders as part of the review process, producing mock-up documentation and strategies to story board next steps.
  • Exposure to London and Company Markets insurance industries would be an advantage to be able to relate to internal processes and workflows in the industry (but not essential).

  • Process analysis, data mapping and design, data analytical and modelling skills using Excel.
Systems and I.T
  • MS Office –Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio & Project.
  • Data modelling, transformation and visualization skills using Power BI.
