So, what’s the job?
As we continue to grow, we are recruiting for a Compliance Consultant to support the European Compliance team in all aspects of implementing and maintaining effective Risk and Compliance programmes.
This is an exciting time to be joining a new team, where you can really help shape the Risk and Compliance function. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance Europe you will be based in our modern, bright offices in Uxbridge where there is free onsite parking and refreshments!
So what does the job entail?
- You will support with compliance monitoring and assurance activities
- Modifying and reviewing our company policies
- Implementing the group and local policies and providing support to the wider business on compliance matters
- Working with the team to execute risk management activities
- Facilitating and co-ordinate strategic, operational or project risk assessments
- You will provide input to improve the annual compliance risk assessment
- Maintain an adequate control environment and support the business in identifying root causes and actions plans to address any breaches and incidents
- You will support the business in designing action plans to address risks, incidents or identified control deficiencies and monitor completion of action plans
- Manage regular Risk & Compliance reports within the reporting deadlines agreed
And yes, there are some requirements needed in order to be our future Compliance Consultant.
- A high level of experience in a Compliance role within the financial services is essential
- You will be familiar with relevant local regulation of financial intermediaries
- Have a strong knowledge of key compliance and regulatory topics
- A good understanding of practical application of compliance risk and risk management practices
- A proven track record of working on own initiative and delivering practical outcomes to a professional standard
- Experience of project management with a strong emphasis on prioritisation
- Be able to build and maintain key relationships across the business with different stakeholders
