Mission
Reporting directly to the Manager of Accounting, you'll be a member of the Finance & Accounting team working with both internal and external customers.
This role must be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Objectives – Year One
- Gain a detailed understanding of Agio's financial and accounting operations
- Identify and implement improved methods to increase financial transparency for decision makers.
- Identify and implement improved methods in efficiency around current accounting and financial processes and procedures.
- Work to becoming self-directed in daily activities.
- Gain full knowledge of the Agio invoicing cycle and processes
- Develop professional relationships with employees outside the Finance & Accounting team at varying levels within the business
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly client invoicing process
- Process Consensus Modeling Requests
- Perform month end financial close activities
- Respond to client inquiries regarding outstanding invoices
- Complete monthly reconciliations of invoicing counts
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate invoicing counts
- Participate in special projects and assignments as needed
Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- 2+ years' relevant experience in Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of United States GAAP
- Travel & expense processing
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
