Job description

We are looking for skilled Journeyman Flooring Installers, Apprentices, and Helpers.

If you want to work FULL TIME for a well-established flooring firm that gives medical, dental, and life insurance benefits, this is the job for you. There's also plenty of room for advancement and raises based on your performance

We service the entire Bay Area as well as the Valley.

Flooring Installer Qualifications:

• Experienced with a wide range of flooring materials for commercial and residential applications, including wood, vinyl, linoleum, LVP, carpet tile, VCT, and carpet.

• Ability to evaluate job sites to identify potential problems and give recommendations.

• In-depth understanding of flooring materials and installation methods

• Capable of levelling subfloors, scrape, and other surfaces in preparation for installation.

• Ability to install flooring materials using hand and power tools in accordance with job specifications.

• Inspects finished work to verify quality and the highest possible standards of work

• Prior experience as a flooring installer or completion of a suitable apprenticeship is strongly preferred

• Has good physical stamina and capacity to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Have the ability to travel with reliable transportation for projects throughout the Bay Area and the Valley

*Those who want to be apprentices must have some prior experience.

*Depending on experience, accuracy, and speed, pay ranges from $18 to $50 per hour (plus benefits).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $50.00 per hour
