This sports reporter will source and create daily stories that bring quality content to digital audiences in the West and Utah, driving traffic and interaction with Deseret.com and the Deseret News app.

Able to build stories throughout a news cycle, developing them from breaking news briefs to in-depth perspective pieces.
Familiar with SEO best practices and how to find trending news.

Hold a degree in journalism or media studies.
Have 2+ years of experience working in a college athletics environment.
Have 2+ years of years of experience working in a newsroom.
Can write killer longform features while covering the beat like a blanket.
