WHAT TO EXPECT
The Opportunity
This role will maintain, operate and optimise the Rivet process. In addition, this role adheres to standardised work processes, proactively engages in improvement activities and contributes to the achievement of the team as well as being responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for themselves and others.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Your key accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Support the operational team in the completion of vehicle production targets and to ensure scorecard metrics such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment are met
- Manage the Rivet process by optimising a near fault-free riveting process
- Contribute to the achievement of the Integrated Production System, Manufacturing Quality Operating Standard and Launch Quality Operating System processes
- Contribute to improvement ideas to work group
- Take responsibility for Health and Safety of self and others
- Ensure quality of own work and direct team is maintained at all times
- Raise concerns and ask questions to solve problems, when necessary escalate issues through appropriate channel
- Responsible for the maintenance of and improvement of 5S standards in the area
- Adhere to company-wide and site specific policies
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- Ability to follow detailed working instructions
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience of delivering safety metrics
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Agile to business requirements
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Joining Technician
- Previous facility equipment experience
- Knowledge of Quality Operating Systems procedures and deliverables
- Exposure to continuous improvement / lean tools
- Computer literate
