Job description
Together Trust's very own fully accessible festival, Join Together, is taking place at our campus on Schools Hill in Cheadle on 1st July 2023 and will host activities, lots of different stalls, and fun for the whole family. Think food and drink, ponies, animals, glitter, sensory experiences, fairground rides, yoga, story reading, games, live music and more!
The Festival run 10am-4pm with 10am-11am being quiet hour to create an accessible and enjoyable environment for visitors with additional needs.
What volunteers will be doing:
All sorts of things! You will rotate around different activities throughout the day, including:
welcoming people and selling tickets on the gate
staffing stalls (eg Teddy Tombola)
directing vehicles to parking spaces
selling raffle tickets
litter picking
dressing up as our mascot and waving to everyone! (Not all volunteers will do this – feel free to tell us if you would rather not.)
Volunteers will need:
Enthusiasm, a friendly attitude, and a willingness to get stuck in!
