Do you enjoy working outdoors? Are you looking to join a developing team that offers a diverse range of opportunities? If so, and you live in or around the Somerset area (preferably within a half hour commute of Bridgwater), our regional Jetvac team is looking for a new Operator to join them.
What will I be doing?
Joining a friendly, supportive team, you’ll help to look after our network of sewers and treatment works, ensuring the highest standards for our customers.
This role involves operating and maintaining jetvac equipment, as well as completing routine and reactive maintenance.
You will be required to communicate incidents, abnormalities, and customer and operational needs and changes.
What are the requirements?
Holding an LGV category C along with some experience of working on the sewerage network, preferably with WJA certification, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.
If you have experience working on highways or carrying out sewer inspections, it would be highly beneficial but is not essential.
We are looking for someone who loves outdoor working and is practical, driven and good at problem solving.
A conscientious and committed approach will ensure you continually provide a high-quality service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and exceeding performance targets.
