About the Role
The main objective of the Assistant Administrator is to provide support to the Specialty Managers and to ensure all content for the examinations is produced to the highest possible standard and is delivered at every stage to stakeholders within strictly set timescales. This involves supporting the candidate application and eligibility process, working with Pearson VUE on allocation and booking of test centre places for the Section 1 examination and assisting with the full delivery of the Section 2 examinations. The Section 2 examinations are usually held over 3 to 4 days in selected locations across the UK and Ireland. Each examination event requires the Assistant Administrator to work with a Specialty Manager to co-ordinate candidate and examiner attendance, organise hospital and hotel based examination venues and to attend examinations as part of a small dedicated team. There is a limited number of JSCFE Section 2 sittings which are conducted in Kuala Lumpur over the course of a week and the Assistant Administrator will also be involved in this activity. Attendance at examinations and meetings will require the post holder to work outside of normal working hours and travel for work from time to time both within the UK/Ireland and overseas.
This post is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your skills in high quality administration, customer service and relationship building.
