Production Operator – Glenrothes – More Availability
2020 Recruitment is delighted to be working with local electrical manufacturing client CTDI who are looking for Production Operators to join their team in Glenrothes.
This is a great opportunity for those looking for an opportunity of permanent work.
Initially a 12-week contract, at the end of this period you will become a permanent member of staff and will be given opportunities to progress your career through CTDI.
The Role
As the Production Operator, you will be trained in the testing and refurbishment of various electrical products. You may also be required to work within our areas of the factory depending on the needs of the business.
Working Hours
As the Production Operator your working hours will be the following. Please note that you only work one shift, it is not rotational and to work the nightshift you must first pass a online mental wellbeing assessment:
Early Shift Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:00
Back Shift Monday to Friday 15:00 to 23:00
Night Shift Sunday to Thursday 23:00 to 07:00
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Production Operator your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Testing
· Refurbishment
· Packing
· Booking in and out
· Box building
Requirements
Although no similar experience is required, and all training is provided you must have the following attributes to be considered:
· Reliable
· Hardworking
· Punctual
· Committed
· Ability to meet targets
· IT Literate
· Fluent in English both reading and writing
Package
As the Production Operator, you will be offered a package that includes:
· Dayshift pay rate of £10.20ph
· Backshift rate of £12.75ph after 5pm
· Nightshift rate of £13.26
· Permanent contract after 12 weeks
