Do you want to be part of the Japanese language translation team translating our publications and marketing?
Are you excited about producing the highest quality translations possible for a wide range of unique fantasy and sci-fi products such as Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000?
Do you particularly enjoy epic fantasy and sci-fi stories, played out both in print and on the table top?
We’re looking for someone who will actively research and engage with teammates to better understand Games Workshop’s background, style and tone and bring our worlds to life through translation from English to Japanese!
The key elements of the job will be to ensure your translations are appropriate (with respect to Games Workshop’s IP) and to manage your workload to ensure that your translations are of the best quality and delivered on time. You will be part of a team that delivers all Games Workshop’s Japanese translation needs to a high quality and consistent manner.
Preferred Skills
・Japanese native or equivalent language proficiency
・Experience translating entertainment, fantasy, or game (physical or digital) content.
・Adobe InDesign experience
