The team

ITV Studios produces a range of TV shows including Love Island, I'm a Celebrity, This Morning and many more.

To support our shows, we run a range of accounts across social media including TikTok, Instagram, FB, YouTube, Linkedin and Twitter.

As someone working on the social media team, you would get the opportunity to come up with ideas about how we can promote our ITV Studios shows on these platforms. You might make backstage videos, memes, compilations of the shows or galleries. Day to day is different - but you'd get a chance to work across different shows and learn about making the best social with TV.

The role

• Mixed from day to day - mostly desk based - but with attending meetings as well as shoots and events where relevant
• Could be writing copy one day, joining meetings around content plans another or going on location to create some social content
• Lots of opportunity for ideas creation - from developing to seeing it through and publishing across social channels
• Lots of opportunity to work across different parts of the business and meet different teams and labels

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

• Someone who is fascinated by social media and uses it in their day to day life
• Someone who has great ideas for what could work on different platforms
• Someone who understands that different brands have different tones of voice and can adapt to that
• Someone who can multitask and make sure they keep up to date with administration paperwork
• Anyone with existing production skills - even if just in a personal capacity, of taking photos, making videos etc is a benefit
• Scoring at least 9/10 through the multiple choice application questions
• Descriptive and an originality portrayed within the set application questions (Are these for you?)

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

• A clear understanding & passion for the apprenticeship role you are applying for as well as ITV Studios
• Have a willingness to learn new skills with the appropriate training
• Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude
• Good understanding of how to use technology in an office environment for example use of the Google suite, zoom
• You will be friendly and approachable, respectful to all of your ITV colleagues
• You’ll have the ability to maintain a positive attitude, even when under pressure and working to deadlines

Eligibility/Entry Criteria

As this is a Level 3 Apprenticeship, we require you to have/be predicted to achieve the below qualifications

GCSE Grades (or equivalent) C/4 or above in English and Maths plus 2 other subjects

There is no upper age limit to an Apprenticeship, however due to the nature of this apprenticeship, it would only suit applicants over 18 due to the content being managed throughout the programme. Please see below to check you meet the eligibility criteria:

• You have lived within the UK/EEA for a minimum of 3 years consecutively
• You meet the entry criteria for the apprenticeship as listed above
• You have not completed a degree/same level qualification in a similar subject to the role you are applying for
• You cannot have achieved the qualification already and you must not already be in full time education at the point of enrolment
