Salary: Range 4 £26,357 p.a
52 weeks per year, 37 hours per week
- 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday,
- 8.00am – 4.00pm Friday (including a 30 minute unpaid break)
This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to join the growing Watling Academy team. You will provide first-line technical support and assistance to staff and students in all aspects of the Academy’s Windows-based ICT systems and other technologies, including the website. No day will be the same and you should be willing to grow with the academy.
The post will involve:
- Providing first-line technical support and assistance to staff and students in all aspects of the School’s Windows-based ICT systems.
- User account maintenance in Active Directory and servicing/repair of computers.
- Delivering and supporting the use technology in the classroom.
- Fault-finding in connection with technology in classrooms and staff offices.
- Assisting the ICT Systems Leader in the implementation of the ICT development strategy.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Evidence of relevant ICT training and qualifications.
- Educated to GCSE level with a minimum grade C in English and Maths, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications including OneNote and Teams.
- Knowledge of and a willingness to keep up to date with new developments in ICT.
- An understanding of the basic principles of customer care.
