Position: Aircraft Cleaner
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: London Gatwick Airport
Salary: £11.11 - £12.11
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off nights ( 19.00 - 07.00 and 20.00 - 08.00 )

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check) if you are to be successful for this position.

DHL work in partnership with easyJet at Gatwick Airport to provide all ground handling within their Gatwick operation. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • To consistently deliver the highest customer service
  • Aircraft cleaning in preparation for departure
  • Routine deep cleaning of aircraft
  • Ensuring the segregation of cleaning equipment
  • Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Be calm, friendly and professional
  • Be physically fit
  • Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
  • Work well within a team
  • Attend a medical
  • Hold a full driving licence

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

  • Be able to provide 5 years address history
  • Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • To obtain a full airside ID
