Position: Support Worker for Teenage Children (16+) within 24/7 Staffed Semi Independent Supported Accommodation
Pay: £1900 - £3200 per month
Min. Hours: 2 Day Shifts & 3 Sleeping Night Shifts per Week
Max Hours: 4 Day Shifts & 4 Sleeping Night Shifts per Week
Locations: North East London (Enfield & Ilford)
Start Date: August 2023
Min. Requirements:
- Valid DBS dated in past 12 months
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care or relevant qualification
- Relevant professional experience working with children / Care Leavers aged 16-18
- Night and weekend availability are essential

NelCare are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Support Workers to work with 16-18 year old male Care Leavers.
There are also opportunities to develop into the role of a Deputy Manager with greater responsibilities and benefits as we continue to open new houses each year.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor, support, and advise a small group of Young People
- You will also be expected to complete 1:1 life-skills work with the young people and escorting to appointments when necessary.
- Daily Logs, Monthly Reports, and Incident Reports
- Regular monthly supervision by a qualified and experienced social worker
- All daily logs and reporting on an easy to use bespoke IT system
- Cleaning communal areas
- Senior managers regularly visit and are available 24 hours a day for support and advice.
- Consultation available upon request
- Cover arranged for the houses if you are asked to escort young people for appointments.
- Shifts are allocated Monthly based on your availability provided a month in advance. Although fixed shift patterns are preferred.
- Day shifts are 8am - 7pm and a sleeping night shift 7pm - 8am (Sleeping Hours are 12-7am)

We have 4 locations based in Enfield and Ilford.

We consider all different backgrounds and experience, and all of our houses are based within Enfield and Ilford, transport is not necessary however with our expansion a vehicle would have its advantages.
