Job Title: IT Technicians
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
Location: Annan
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £21,000 to £35,000 DOE
Our fantastic, rapidly growing client within the local region is seeking highly skilled and motivated IT Technicians at various levels, from Helpdesk Technicians to 3rd Line/Field Engineers, to join their team in Annan. We’re seeking experienced:
- Helpdesk Technician / 1st Line Support
- 2nd Line IT Support
- 3rd Line IT / Field Engineer

You will join an experienced team with expertise in providing reliable support and top-tier customer service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and triage support tickets raised
- Provide IT support for software and hardware including:
- Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, VoIP Telephony Systems, various other cloud platforms
- Build and maintain rapport with customers
- Experience in Gamma Solutions and BT Cloud Voice deployment would be preferred but not essential
- Onsite client visits / field work as required
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support
- Assist in resolving complex IT issues
- Participate in projects for system upgrades and migrations
- Perform on-site support and maintenance
- Resolve complex technical issues
- Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with other team members for escalated tickets
- Work on a rota to cover 7am to 7pm
- Weekend rotas may also be required
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in an IT support role
- Understanding of DHCP DNS
- Familiar with Active Directory
- Understanding of networks
- Understanding of switch topology
- Familiar understanding of Microsoft 365
- Understanding of server setups Host servers and virtual servers
- Understanding of BT Voice and Horizon platforms
- Understanding of Windows 10/11
- Confident telephone manner
- Works well under pressure
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Skilled in ITIL Disciplines around fix and fulfil ticket management
- Highly experienced in Network Infrastructure Management, including VLAN set up and configuration
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- Can support Microsoft Server infrastructure services including server virtualisations, physical servers, hosted systems and storage technologies
- You will be a pro at Microsoft 365, including Azure and AD Sync
- Ability to support network services including WAN, LAN and WLAN
- UK Drivers license is desirable
