We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for gathering data and analyzing information to provide data-driven intelligence to the key stakeholders throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analyzing business needs for the organization and related stakeholders to help identify and propose solutions
- Set, track, and trend reports against key corporate initiatives and KPIs
- Supports all areas of the organization including but not limited to Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations
- Solves organizational information requests and requirements by analyzing data; initial design and development; recommending system controls and protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
- 3-7 years of experience generating reports and analyzing business data
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel is a must
- Understanding of data visualization systems such as Cognos Analytics, Tableau and/or Power BI strongly preferred
- Experience with Access, SQL and/or Salesforce CRM preferred
- Technical understanding of enterprise ERP systems (Oracle, JD Edwards, or other)
- Query exposure in various applications
- Experience working with data related to manufacturing or distribution of tangible goods strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skill
- Ability to organize information, multi-tasking, and balance multiple priorities
