Job description
Job Summary
· First point of contact for IT users and to troubleshoot technical issue
· Build desktop and laptop for new starters
· Run New Starter Inductions
· Running regular checks on the network.
· Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
· Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
· Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure.
· Monitoring of cyber security measures.
· Supporting website and social media pages
Working Relationships
· Work with all levels of the business to establish a positive IT culture
· Liaises with all staff and managers to improve understanding of IT processes, develop strong working relationships
· Work with third party providers who provide IT support
· Work with suppliers and software providers
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
· Experience of working in an IT Support role
Minimum 5 GCSEs including English & Maths but higher-level qualifications desirable. (Training will be provided appropriate to employee’s level of qualifications & experience)
· Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office software
· Experience in/aptitude for collating data and producing MI reports
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
