The job title: MOBILE / IT Technician
An east London-based mobile and IT solution business is looking for a Mobile IT Technician to expand their business online and onsite by providing extra care to their existing customers and obtaining new customers.
The successful candidates mainly be responsible for the following tasks-
· will diagnose hardware and software issues on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. This includes identifying the root cause of problems and performing repairs or replacements as necessary.
· Install and configure any computer hardware & software
· As a Mobile Technician, staying updated with the latest mobile devices, operating systems, repair techniques, and industry trends is crucial. This may involve attending training sessions, researching new technologies, and seeking certifications to enhance your skills.
· Installing and upgrading anti-virus to ensure security
· Testing and evaluating new software and evaluation
· Giving customers technical advice on their gadget
· Responding to client’s requests
· You may be responsible for maintaining an inventory of mobile device parts and accessories. This includes tracking stock levels, ordering new parts when necessary, and ensuring that the shop has an adequate supply of commonly used components. Identify problems and be able to know what the most effective method is
· Be able to meet deadlines
· Be friendly to customers and patient
Qualifications and pre-requisite requirements:
A suitable candidate needs to have experience and skill set to do the above tasks. Vocational or academic courses and training will be considered as added qualification. Candidate must need to have at least 1 year experience of working at the same sector.
Salary offered: £23000 to £26500 per annum (depending on the experience)
Working hours: 37.5-39.5 hours per week
