As part of a major multi-year digital and organisational transformation programme) for one of the UK's leading Social Care organisations (~2,000 FTEs), we are looking for a Project Management Officer to be part of the central programme team.
This Digital Transformation Programme will transform the way the organisation works over the coming 2yrs or so, from operational front-line teams to supporting central functions. This will involve re-designing current processes and ways of working before selecting, piloting and implementing new software and systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to reshape the way in which one of the UK's leading Social Care providers operates, whilst being part of an experienced, dynamic and friendly programme management team. We are looking for a confident, motivated, hard-working individual, ideally with 3 years’ experience of project management and support.
You must be IT literate with excellent Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of Power Apps and Power BI reporting would be a distinct advantage. You will be working 37.5 Hours per week, on a fixed term contract for 12-24 months starting as soon as possible. You will be based remotely from home, with occasional travel to our Head Office in Maidstone, our London office, and possibly other locations. In return you will receive a competitive salary and 25 days annual leave a year. We are looking for the following in our Project Management Officer:
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in supporting the delivery of multiple projects
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
- Experience in project planning & project governance
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the business
- A team player to work collaboratively within an autonomous team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Teams, Visio, SharePoint, MS Project
- Proven ability to work on own initiative, accurately and under pressure, with good attention to detail
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Project management qualification e.g., Prince2, APM or working towards it
