Job Summary
The network analyst participates in the implementation and maintenance of computer services.
This individual in this role:
- Provides support to users in computer and telephone matters.
- Prepares and maintains computer equipment for new employees and replaces aging equipment.
- Contributes to the maintenance of a stable and efficient network by participating in infrastructure projects while respecting deadlines, costs and the quality of service expected by users and management.
- Proposes and researches new solutions and coordinates his/her efforts with the entire IT team.
The ideal candidate will have solid technical experience and strong customer service skills. This person is resourceful, empathetic and thorough.
Description of tasks and responsibilities
User support and incident resolution
- Provide level 1 and 2 computer support to users
- On-site and remote users
- Manage requests through a ticketing system
- Windows environment
- Audio/visual equipment
- IP and cellular telephones
- Contributes to users' learning through training and writing procedures to make them more autonomous and efficient.
Management of computer equipment
- Manage computer equipment
- Maintain inventory of computer equipment assigned to users
- Install and configure workstations for new employees or replace aging equipment
- Prepare orders to maintain inventory levels to meet needs
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Degree in computer science
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position - Computer Technician
- English and French read, written and spoken
- Mastery of Windows and Office 365 environments
Important:
- Experience with a support ticketing system
- Customer service oriented attitude
- Experience in research and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of SCCM and/or MDT
- Knowledge of MDM (InTune), MFA and VPN solutions
Assets:
- Experience with Active Directory
- Knowledge of SCRUM / AGILE process
- Microsoft certification
- Knowledge of VoIP
