As we continue our exciting expansion and regeneration of the Pier, we're looking for an IT Systems & Graphic Design Executive to join our fantastic team.
About the Role
IT Systems & Graphic Design Executive
Location: Clacton Pier, 1 North Sea, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 1QX.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with some weekend and evening work in peak periods
Salary: £25,000-£27,000 depending on experience

Working closely with our marketing team, the IT System & Graphic Design Executive will take overall responsibility for all graphic design projects across the Pier whilst also providing essential hands-on support with IT infrastructure.
A creative individual, they will interpret design briefs and work under their own initiative to produce compelling designs. Across signage, posters, leaflets, vinyl and digital display screens, they will ensure all design is in line with the company brand and guidelines and refreshed to stay relevant and up to date. They will be an excellent operator of Adobe Creative Suite, supporting the Digital Marketing Executive with design for Social Media, website and basic videography work.
The IT System & Graphic Design Executive will be the first port of call for any IT issues across the site and will provide basic troubleshooting to get systems and devices back up and running as quickly as possible. They will develop an excellent understanding of all our internal systems including Semnox, Mobaro, Microsoft 365 and Mission Control as well as the hardware on site including PC, Mac, till points, digital display screens and card readers.
They will work closely with the IT Manager to undertake repairs and upgrades to the network, installing new equipment and ensuring existing hardware is maintained. They will report reoccurring issues to the IT Manager, working with them to improve reliability of the equipment across the site.
As a 52 week a year attraction, there are a host of exciting special events and offerings in the calendar. As part of our special events team, this individual will be involved in the set-up of relevant systems including DMX lighting and sound systems.
Key responsibilities:
· Maintaining IT systems across the site, working with the IT Manager to perform repairs and upgrades
· Providing IT troubleshooting and support with laptops, PC’s, till’s, card readers, digital display screens and other infrastructure
· Setting up new IT infrastructure under the supervision of the IT Manager
· Assisting with the setup of equipment for special events including extra network points, tills, DMX lighting and sound systems
· Designing all Pier communications across print and digital channels in line with the brand image and guidelines
· Managing signage and posters across the site ensuring they are kept presentable and up to date
· Liaising with suppliers to arrange print runs of leaflets, posters, signage and other marketing materials
· Supporting the marketing team with design for social media and website
· Basic videography and editing
About You
· Competency with Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
· Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Graphic Design
· Understanding of commercial printers and the ability to print and install signage and vinyl using on-site facilities
· Excellent attention to detail
· Creative approach with the ability design compelling content from design briefs
· Highly organised individual who can prioritise their workload to ensure efficient completion of tasks
· Working knowledge of computers, systems and infrastructure and ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues across hardware and software
· Knowledge of networks, cabling and cable management
· Experience in Fibre adventurous but not essential
