About us
Ministry of Sound opened in 1991 in a disused bus garage in a forgotten corner of South London. It was the first nightclub in the UK to have a 24-hour licence, didn’t serve alcohol and featured an earth-shaking sound system in a specially constructed dance box.
We went on to become the world’s largest independent record company and stage giant dance events, including one for 50,000 people at the Millennium Dome. We were pioneers in electronic music and have a history of taking risks, innovation, and colourful and creative marketing.

Thirty years later we opened The Ministry, a workspace run as a member’s club, in a 50,000 sq. ft Victorian warehouse in SE1. The design is relaxed but functional with a bar, opening windows, an outside courtyard and plenty of space to sit, relax, work and socialise – everything you wouldn’t expect to find in a standard office.
There’s great home cooked F&B, a state-of-the-art gym and fitness studio with daily classes, together with a cultural and business events programme. The building has its own events and conference space and we’re about to introduce our own premium range of candles, diffusers, soaps, and other body care products.
We believe this is the office of the future, members love it and it has been a big success.
We plan to take this a stage further with the opening of our second site at Westfield White City in early 2024. Members will access the office via an urban garden before ascending an escalator to a bar and deli with a five-metre floor to ceiling height.
In addition to a private gym for members, the workspace will include wellness studios, a bakery, rooftop bar and restaurant, juice bar and champagne and doughnut bar, all public facing. There will be an events and conference facility and multiple other products and amenities not typically associated with a workspace.
The role
Along with working with the business teams to define and refine business processes; clearly defining responsibilities and handover points, you will deliver workshops with individual teams and then with multiple teams to define handover points.
You will work with the business teams to create and deliver training and design documentation for initial implementation and ongoing use of the systems. By maintaining the systems - audit you will ensure that all data is clean and that systems are being used according to processes.
You understand that you must ensure that all data tables required by integrations are kept up to date as new items are created. Work with teams on reporting requirements, creating/updating dashboards and reports in conjunction with technical resources.
You will be able to resolve implementation and post-implementation issues and document learning for implementation into new sites / openings. Confidently manage the transition from design to implementation and BAU in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders, review requests for changes. If approved, manage the change process including: Working with vendors to scope, agree and implement changes. Plan and manage the change as a (mini-) project.
Being able to update process documentation and training materials to reflect the change and work with stakeholders to effectively communicate the change to the relevant staff.
All other duties as assigned.
You will have experience of delivering systems projects in new openings and in similar sized businesses. You will have experience of working with the business to facilitate workshops on business processes.
You’ll have the drive to overcome obstacles and relentlessly pursue challenging objectives, acting with urgency, agility and speed in all matters.
You'll be able to communicate at all levels, being able to communicate technical concepts clearly and engage non-technical people.
You'll be able to build strong relationships, collaborating across the business and with external partners.
You’ll be highly organised and will have a track record of delivering projects on time and to an excellent standard.
