We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and progressive client who are seeking a full-time Pharmacist for their new online pharmacy based in Stratford, London.
The pharmacy was recently registered with the Gphc and approved to provide NHS essential services. We will be providing patients with fast and efficient services including prescriptions delivered to their home as well as professional advice and support from modern premises located in Stratford.
As a pharmacist, you would be responsible for ensuring that medicines are safely and correctly dispensed to our customers. You will also be expected to provide advice for patients over the phone and be the ‘go to ‘person for the dispensers and pharmacy assistants when they have queries.
There will be a superintendent pharmacist available to provide full support and training, where necessary so this role would suit a qualified Pharmacist with or without experience managing a dispensary.
Essential Requirements:
To apply for this position, you should have the following skills and experience:
Registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Able to demonstrate an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, with excellent communication skills
Strong Customer Service skills and a patient focused approach
Role responsibilities:
Have a real hands-on approach to the way you do things.
Be focused just as much on the customers, as well as the leadership of the team.
Take ownership of the pharmacy and have a positive attitude, promote and deliver services within the team and provide a great customer experience.
Responsible for planning and reviewing own workload requiring a high level of self-motivation and use of initiative.
Ensure compliance with the professional standards in Pharmacy and maintain all professional registrations within the team.
Dispensing prescription medicines to the public, following prescriptions issued by an authorised Medical Practitioner and liaising with patients and GP surgeries.
Ensure all staff are trained and observant of all legal and professional requirements.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.00-18.00
