IT Support Engineer London, England
Job description
We are seeking a talented IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing hands-on support for PC and mobile devices, network and PC implementation and optimization, and project management and service delivery schedule management for several key customer projects. You will also be responsible for implementing and supporting on-premises and cloud-based services and products and liaising with internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Implement and optimize network and PC infrastructure, including security configuration and day-to-day service delivery
Manage project schedules and delivery of several key customer projects
Support PC and call center systems, including DC servers
Plan and execute migration plans
Conduct proof of concept testing and acceptance testing
Negotiate with vendors and maintain vendor control
Develop and implement new features and services
Establish and cease PC/desktop security systems
Provide 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting support and act as the escalation point of contact for customers
Manage support desk system queuing and provide temporary or long-term customer support at their office if required
Maintain secure operations and a tidy environment
Document implementation and modification approach
Provide periodical status reports to the line manager
Requirements:
Wide knowledge and proficiency in PC software like Microsoft 10 and later, Office/Mailer, and antivirus products
General knowledge and experience in PC hardware, routers, switches, and firewalls - especially Cisco and Palo Alto products
Strong project management and communication skills
Strong skills in cloud-based services and migrating on-premises services to the cloud

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
