Job description
An IT Support Engineer is required to join our support team.
The role will involve providing hardware, software, and cloud support services across a range of workstations/servers/devices. The job will entail liaising directly with client end-users and on-site support staff to solve technical issues arising from the day-to-day operation of their IT infrastructure.
A good knowledge of configuring and managing both server software and core platforms (Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Hyper-V, etc.) would be useful, along with a good understanding of Azure/365 cloud configuration and migration. There will also be some involvement with supporting and testing our own software products.
The successful applicant will be working for a small, friendly company, based in Southampton. Remote working is available, however the candidate will need to make the occasional visit to client sites, mainly in London.
They will need to be able to manage their own time effectively within a general framework and take an independent, proactive approach to any work that needs doing. The work will be varied, and there will be ample opportunities to expand their general IT knowledge.

Salary: £22,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
