Job description
An IT Support Engineer is required for a permanent opportunity in London.
As part of the team, you will provide technical support on a range of software. You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge on a wide range of IT within the business. The role requires attendance to site to provide User IT Support (1st and 2nd Line), you will use your experience to help our users with day-to-day queries, while also working on various IT projects.
Ideally you will have approximately 2 years previous experience working at this level.
Experience:
- On-site 1st point of contact for IT hardware and software.
- Firewall management
- Support of laptops including Mac
- OneDrive, Egnyte or similar
- User Account and MS Office 365 Profile Management
- Diagnosis and resolution of issues using systematic troubleshooting skills.
- Daily system checks
- Resolve complex problems & issues in a timely manner according to priorities
- Occasional onsite support and installations
- Creation of user guides and documentation
- Able to assist on-site and remote users
- Monitor and maintain all networks and hardware resources
- IT Support: 2 years (preferred)
- MSP Support: 2 years (required)
Qualification
- Must have a full clean UK Driving Licence
- Completion of higher education or a relevant apprenticeship to a good standard.
- Degree or degree equivalent qualifications is desirable
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
