What you would do as our Installation Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a field-based Installation Manager to join our UK Door Group to plan and manage engineering resources for the installation of metal and timber door sets and steel framed glazing systems on multiple projects at a time ensuring targets are met.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you would:
- Ensure installation teams are meeting or exceeding productivity targets and delivering high standard of quality
- Actively monitor and report installation performance and ensure action on deviations
- To ensure all site-based documentation is fully completed and returned to the office for further processing or record keeping.
- Support the implementation of WorkPal and Openings Studio on installation projects
- Responsible for managing the quality of installation subcontractors
- Monitor and report on issues concerning programmes as projects progress
- Positively promote health and safety through your personal commitment and leadership, maintain Company standards
- Provide support and direction to site staff with customer interaction on site as well as with installation related customer disputes and escalations management
- Assist with identification and resolution of product or technical issues on site
- Manage client related issues
- Support Installation Supervisors to maintain and manage installation schedules and costs
- Provide onsite training with engineers when needed to assist their development
The skills and experience you need:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant experience in an installation supervision capacity
- Proven experience of working in the door sector with excellent technical knowledge of doors and associated products
- Safety and quality management skills
- Customer relationship management skills
- Project management skills
- A flexible approach to working hours and business needs
- A Blue CSCS card (minimum) and SMSTS qualification
