IT Support Engineer - Asset Management
Location: Croydon
Hemmersbach provide the support services needed by many of the world’s largest organisations. As operations for a number of clients continue to expand, we now seek to appoint a skilled IT support engineer that can resolve and prepare various desktop solutions, ready to deploy to users.
As part of a wider team, supporting the UK users of a global organisation, your role is to take responsibility in the preparation, build and staging of user IT equipment.
You will monitor and respond to hardware requests - be that new starters, leavers requiring data sanitisation and fresh re-builds, as well as non-standard IT equipment, mobile phones and tablets.
The role carries with it responsibility of ensuring that the users are supported, equipped and that company stock availability is never in short supply. You are the very person that enables a new member of staff to be productive, and the existing users advanced in the latest IT solutions.
What we look for
- Experience as an asset & stockroom management engineer
- Prepare new or returned PC systems for use using standard images
- Prepare equipment for disposals, create IT asset disposition and enter disposal request in ticketing tool
- Due to the varied nature of the role, it may be subject to enhanced referencing or vetting
