Within the IT support team our goal is to deliver a first-class service ensuring we support our colleagues in keeping the Greggs business operating effectively and efficiently.
- Deputising for the IT Support Manager when they are otherwise engaged
- Working with the IT Support Manager to plan the processes used by the IT Support team and then developing those plans to fruition
- Managing continuous improvement initiatives in the IT Support team
- Working with the IT Support Manager to optimise and improve/transform the current support offering, turning it into an efficient an effective service that meets the business needs
- 3rd Line escalation point for operational IT Support systems
- 3rd Line Tasks and Projects
- Meeting attendance for IT Support (where required)
- 3rd line technical escalation point out of hours
- Technical authoriser for IT Change Management at Greggs
This role will work closely with the IT Support Team Leader(s) and IT Support manager roles on an advisory and consultation basis.
About youYou will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016 onwards
- Experience of O365
- Installing new technologies and teaching end users how to operate them
- Providing remote technical support via internet or phone
- Backing up and restoring files
- Maintaining operating systems by repairing hardware and configuring software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong skills in planning, prioritising, and organising
- Are a strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels
- Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together

Vacancy InformationWe have a fantastic opportunity to join the IT & Business Change team at Greggs as an IT Support Delivery Specialist.
The IT Support Delivery Specialist is deputy to the IT Support Manager and an escalation point for the IT Support Team. The role will be responsible for the support processes, how we triage and advising the IT Support team leaders with resource planning. This will be the holder’s primary role but there will be a secondary role of 3rd line support.
