Event Concept have an opportunity for an IT Support to join our team. In this role, reporting into our Internal Operations Manager, you will support the business (currently over 120 people and growing) with frontline IT support. You will be the first port of call for everyone within the business and will manage hardware, software, and ensure tickets are handled and escalated in a timely manner. You will also be supported by our external IT providers.
Event Concept is a leading creative production agency specialising in live, hybrid and virtual event production. Who are you?
- You are interested in IT and have some experience within frontline support.
- You have excellent communication skills and understand that internal customer service is equally as important as technical knowledge
- You should ideally be knowledgeable with 3rd party support for Office 365
- Some experience with Windows Server, especially the Active Directory, as well as ticketing systems is preferable
- It would be great if you have Level 3 IT Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship or equivalent
Day to day you’ll be:
- Providing first line support to employees, ensuring effective and continuous communication and excellent customer service
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems
- Troubleshooting internal software and applications
- Monitoring and maintaining computer system and network problems – diagnosing and solving hardware software faults
- Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles
- Replacing parts as required and testing and evaluating new technology.
- Working with our external IT providers on larger projects such as server upgrades and new system installs
- Please note that this is an office-based role.
