We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in our UK Computing Centre. The successful candidate will be involved in the development, implementation and support of our Data Centre, using and learning skills in High Performance Computing (HPC). They would gain invaluable industry knowledge and experience in a technical role.
Based in our Southeast of England office, they will be supporting our HPC IT operations team in a variety of activities covering Technical and Hardware Support. They will learn about IT and the different tools and methodologies used in handling the company’s computer centre, gaining valuable real world IT operational experience in an evolving company.

- Provide application development, enhancements, modifications, performance tuning, and support services for assigned projects. The possibility to expand knowledge, and experience in Data Science.
This role will be required to be on-call

We are seeking a candidate who has a strong desire to learn and grow with excellent communication, customer service and team skills. You will be delivery focused and have a problem-solving attitude with effective verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate must be IT literate with knowledge of Linux distributions, be technically proficient in computer systems architecture and have a basic understanding of troubleshooting.
- You will have a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems.
