Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust provides a comprehensive range of Acute (mainly hospital-based) health services, serving residents of Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, and surrounding areas including Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and parts of north-east Sussex; and services, such as Oncology and Ophthalmology, across a wider area.
The Trust has two main hospital sites, the Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury, and Maidstone Hospital. This role will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on shift between 8am-6pm.
This posistion is full time (37.5hrs per week) and are based on-site at our office in Aylesford.
We are looking for a budding IT Support and Clinical Systems Analyst to join MTW Health Informatics expanding Service Desk team. The role comprises of 1stline technical support, password resets, logging support tickets and triaging issues. The Service Desk is based in a satellite site in Aylesford.
Your duties will include:
- To be the first point of contact for all incidents, change and service requests on the Service Desk.
- Hands on IT technical support via remote access and phone, supporting the MTW IT estate and employees.
- Updating of incident and request tickets within the Service Management tool.
- Documentation of procedures.
- Compliance with operational processes (e.g. Incident Management, Request Management, Major Incident Management).
- Demonstrable knowledge Windows based IT in a workplace.
- Demonstrable customer service skills
- Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to rapidly diagnose and fix incidents and problems remotely either by telephone or using a designated tool.
The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.
The Trust’s core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients – the first of its kind in the country.
