About the role
We are seeking a passionate, inquisitive, and diligent IT 1st Line Support Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the daily operations of our IT systems by addressing, recording, and resolving a wide variety of support issues. If you are an enthusiastic individual who thrives on taking early responsibility and providing exceptional support, this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support, from initial contact through to efficient problem resolution.
- Assemble, configure, and deploy hardware such as desktops, laptops, and tablets, both onsite and remotely.
- Provide comprehensive support for network printers.
- Manage, maintain, and deploy a diverse range of software.
- Assist with Microsoft Office 365 support and administration, including user account management, SharePoint support, and Teams configuration and support.
- Perform user account setup and administration using Active Directory.
Experience and Attributes:
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to punctuality.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Windows 10, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Understanding of network TCP/IP protocols, LAN, and WAN.
- A team player who is comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
