Job description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy IT Support Team
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to help us with work that includes:
· Providing IT Helpdesk Support ensuring support tickets are logged and dealt with efficiently
· Proactive monitoring of domain infrastructure systems
· Documentation of IT Network and Infrastructure
· Dealing with internal IT Support for infrastructure requirements
· Setting up workstations
· Supporting Windows OS (10/11) and Windows Server (2012/2016/2019)
· Maintain Remote Desktop Services Environment
· Installation and administration of network equipment including routers and switches.
· Server Services – DNS DHCP, File and Print related activities
· Active Directory – Manage and maintain the OU, GPO and general AD objects
· Domain Management – maintain the domain controllers and solve problems.
· Maintenance and updates of exchange server
· MS Win software maintenance – utilising WSUS for patch management, in conjunction with PDQ and an authorised application list.
· Support to maintain our ISO 27001 and 9001 accreditations.
Employed by Daniels Silverman Ltd, this role also provides IT support for our wider group of companies covering circa 100 staff and 7 locations around the UK. The work is completed from our Widnes offices, with occasional requirement to travel to other locations.
