Drivers Mate Bristol, England
Job description
Accept Recruitment are now recruiting for drivers’ mates on an on-going basis for a well-known furniture company based in Bristol (BS34).
As a successful candidate for the role, you will be required to deliver furniture to customers’ homes alongside a second driver.
You will need to be able to give excellent customer service and be prepared for heavy lifting.
Available Shifts
- Monday to Saturday
- Drivers mate is required to be able to work 5 out of 6 days(Monday to Saturday)
Start times between 0600-0700, average shifts’ length 10-12 hours.
Pay Rate
(PAYE) £10.42ph
Your daily duties will include:
- Loading/unloading of the vehicle with the help of a second driver or a drivers mate
- Meeting deadlines for scheduled deliveries
- Handballing
- Ensuring that the best service is provided at all time
- Dealing with customers face to face and on the phone to confirm deliveries
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations
You will require to have the following:
- A minimum of 3 months’ experience in a similar position
- Drivers’ mates must have correct PPE i.e safety boots and high-vis
