We have a new opportunity for an IT Support & Service Analyst (known internally as the Technology Services Analyst) because of growth within the team and business. It is a varied role that offers the person in the role training and support. The role also offers a foundation for progressing into other areas of the business such as the data or engineering team. It is an excellent opportunity to join a Technology team as we build our future Support, Services and Engineering capabilities.
The IT Support & Service Analyst will be accountable for the following:
- Providing IT support for eProcurement applications and task resolution - initially both Level 1 & Level 2
- Application configuration and administration support of our e-commerce system
- Liaising with external application partners to resolve integration and application issues
- UAT testing of application partner releases
- Internal user set up for new IT and eCommerce access
- Delivering user training for eProcurement applications
- Maintain equipment asset register and IT equipment distribution as part of the starter and leaver processes
- Assist as necessary with IT system administration
- Manage tickets through to resolution and track/report on progress
- Be a point of knowledge and guidance in the use and operation of our systems and wider product offerings
- Help with the management of wider IT incidents, as well as support and complete project work if needed
- Provide service updates and announcements e.g. in relation to schedule maintenance, releases, outages, etc.
- Monitoring of system performance and alerts, raise issues proactively to the relevant technology teams
- Provide cover for the Technology Services Manger as required
Requirements:
If you’re interested in the role of IT Support & Service Analyst, we are looking for you to demonstrate the following:
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support users (Both internally and externally)
- Strong attention to detail combined with good problem-solving skills
- Quick learner with an enthusiasm to learn, and the ability to think “outside of the box” to find work arounds and potential fixes
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet specific deadlines
- Focus on providing excellent customer service and support
- Demonstrate a willingness to improve your own knowledge as well as the technology you support
- Experience of working as part of a support or IT service team (ideally with experience of the ITIL framework)
- Ability to work and be successful in a broad and varied IT support role
- IT or Technology related NVQ Level 2, BTech or equivalent would be desirable
The role is likely to be suitable for an existing support analyst, service desk analyst, application administrator, etc who is looking to progress and become part of a wider Technology and Product department during a period of growth!
