HCMUK is actively seeking an IT Summer Placement Student to join our team in Hebburn, and contribute to our digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities:

• 1st line IT support via helpdesk, email and telephone.
• Manage purchase order system for the IT department.
• Build laptops, desktops etc. using in-house software according to specifications.
• Work with the rest of the IT team to continually improve the business IT systems to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the business, while ensuring that all work and changes are performed so as to minimise all disruption to existing business use.
• To assist in designing and documenting IT processes, procedures and standards and to maintain or prepare system and software documentation as directed.
• Carry out other IT Support duties and undertake project work as and when required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Essential

• Educated to GCSE level with English and Maths.
• Positive attitude
• Interest in IT
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work unsupervised when required.

Preferred

• GCSE in IT related subject
