The Role
We are looking for someone who can confidently join our HR department and collaborate alongside our HR and Recruitment Advisor on all HR activities. You must be creative and feel passionate about creating a great employee experience for our team. You’ll manage all of the activities related to taking care of our current staff. Additionally, you will support the activities related to recruitment and onboarding as and when needed.
Responsibilities
- Guiding management on employee relations and performance management.
- Offering recruitment assistance to the company.
- Improving, implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures.
- Implementing programs to improve the employee experience of the organisation as a workplace.
- Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures.
- Assisting with salary negotiations and issues with employment laws.
- Leave management: holidays, sickness, deductions, overtime, etc.
- Management of HR systems, like Sage HR and cyber security training system.
- Creation of online tools for training.
- Manage the end-to-end family leave processes; maternity, paternity, shared parental leave.
- Participate in and support the Managing Director with key HR initiatives such as performance management, succession planning and compensation planning.
- Assist in and manage employee relations cases, where appropriate including absence management and performance management
- Serve as a primary user of HR systems & maintain expertise in systems (SageHR, Cybersecurity Training Platform, LMS), processes, and security to enable accurate submissions and reporting.
- Handle all freelance contracts and tracking.
Desired Skills:
- Proven experience in HR generalist role or similar.
- Good working knowledge of local employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and able to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong knowledge of the hiring process.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Great attention to detail.
