Eurofins Technologies is a new International Business Line (IBL) within the Eurofins Group focused on the development, manufacturing and marketing of bioanalytical technologies and diagnostic test kits in particular. The business if primarily focused on solutions in Food Safety and Environmental Safety but has recently expanded into Animal Health and Clinical Diagnostics. Eurofins Technologies serves both external customers (industrial laboratories, governmental laboratories, service laboratories) as well as customers within the Eurofins Group.

• Devise, implement and document policies and strategies to effectively:
  • Prepare and deploy application packages using Intune and MECM;
  • Deploy Windows security patches to computer and server endpoints within 30 days of release;
  • Deploy updated Windows OS images to computer and server endpoints;
  • Implement Group Policies (GPO) and Intune policies to better manage computer endpoints; and
  • Deploy application patches and upgrades to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Manage a team of MECM and desktop engineers. Prepare annual staff reviews, annual staff goals and annual budgetary targets;
• Assign, develop and allocate resources to:
  • Evaluate or implement new solutions to improve service offerings;
  • Maintain MECM environments;
  • Manage escalated support tickets that cannot be resolved by Service Desk;
  • Perform Business as Usual (BAU) processes;
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Support regional and security IT projects; and
  • Create opportunities for skill development and career growth for WSM team members.
• Collaborate with IT business leaders to improve organizational processes and reporting metrics;

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience;
• At least five years of experience working in desktop engineering or workspace management position;
• At least two years of experience working with Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)/ System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM);
• Communicate in a positive upbeat manner both verbally and in writing to a multicultural audience;
• Experience in understanding business requirements and translating them into something understood by a non-IT business leader;
• Consistently demonstrate initiative and self-motivation in creating and completing tasks with minimal oversight by leadership;
• Free to travel (5-10%) within the United States;
• Fluent in English.

Eurofins employees are required by governments around the world to follow standard operating procedures that can affect IT such as how to install, maintain, update, repair and even retire equipment (KGDs/SOPs)

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Some weekends and holidays required.
