IT Risk SME 1st LOD, IT Risk, Resilience, IT Controls, Technology, Financial Services London/Hybrid Permanent - £64,000 - £74,000 base + bonus + benefits

My client, a leading Financial Services organisation, are seeking an IT/Technology Risk SME to join them on a permanent basis in their London offices.

You will be a vital part of the 1st Line Technology Risk function within their Chief Technology Office. Your main responsibility will be to enhance operational resilience and implement risk mitigation measures from a technical risk perspective. This will involve identifying areas of IT risk, conducting assessments, presenting your findings to senior stakeholders, and proposing effective mitigation strategies. As you will collaborate directly with the Head of IT Control Assessments, strong stakeholder management skills are crucial to excel in this position. You will also be required to respond to the latest regulations and advise on best practices.

Ideal skillset:

• Previous experience working as an IT Risk & Controls SME from a large-scale financial services organisation or a Big 4 organisation

• Extensive IT/Technical background

• Experience implementing technology risk frameworks and control measures

• Proven experience identifying and assessing non-compliance and risk, presenting these findings and proposing risk mitigation measures

• Have industry knowledge of ITIL, NIST, COBIT, and ISO 27001

• Exposure to Agile, DevOps and Shift concepts

• Previous experience working with 3rd party vendors to align internal control policies

• Previous experience in IT Audit
