Location: We operate a hybrid working model and fully support flexibility with colleagues already based across the UK working from home and linked to one of our core locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), Darlington, Edinburgh or Manchester.
Salary: £51,055 - £60,189

As a Senior IT Service Manager, specialising in IT Service Transition, you will be leading the planning and coordination of activities to ensure that services are effectively designed and transitioned into service while minimising the risk to live operations. This is a role with real impact, where you will be able to shape how we do things going forward and transform how our organisation works.
You'll work across the ONS, empowered to be creative whilst ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality services, leading a team of IT Service Managers. As an experienced professional, you'll be happy managing stakeholders and balancing their potentially conflicting needs, and communicating technologically complex concepts in a way that's tailored to their level of technical understanding. You will be innovative and happy to lead these changes from the front.
You will be a proven Service Transition expert, with the ability to identify best practices and ensuring that they are embedded in our culture and will have wide experience in using continual service improvement techniques to iterate quickly and identify tangible improvements.
